Is this WhatsApp widget really free?

Yes. You can use the widget without an account or subscription. The small visible by Roy credit is part of the free widget and may not be removed through the configurator.

Does it work with WhatsApp Business?

Yes. The widget opens the standard wa.me link for the number you enter, so it works with regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business numbers.

Does the widget track my visitors?

No. The embed script does not set cookies, load analytics, use local storage, or send visitor data to RoibyRoy. WhatsApp applies its own terms after a visitor opens WhatsApp.

Where should I paste the embed script?

Place it once near the end of your shared page layout, ideally directly before the closing body tag. The installation guides above cover the most common platforms.

Can I change the text next to the icon?

Yes. Use up to 35 characters, keep the default Contact us text, choose a preset, or turn the text off for an icon-only button.

Why does the widget need an international phone number?

WhatsApp wa.me links require the country code and number without a local leading zero. The generator removes spaces, brackets, and plus signs automatically.
